Car Description
1968 Pontiac Catalina 2-Door Hardtop Coupe powered by a 6.6L 400cui V8 GM big block engine and driven by a Turbo Hydra-Matic THM 400 3-speed column shift automatic transmission.
This Catalina was built in GM’s South Gate Los Angeles plant in Southern California and has spent all it’s life on the US west coast. It is a daily driver / restorer vehicle with only minimal surface rust and a good straight body. There is a minor dent in the drivers side rear quarter panel. All glass and chrome are good. It has a front bench seat, needing some re-upholstering, has cracks in the dashboard and requires a headliner. It is also missing one original hubcap. It drives and stops great and is showing 87,032 miles, with original exterior paint and interior upholstery.
Overall this is a nice stock car that is an original survivor, requiring only some clean up work to bring it back to a very good to excellent condition.
