Car Description
1973 Dodge Charger 500 SE 2-dr Sports Hardtop Coupe powered by a 5.2L 318cui V8 Chrysler LA-series engine and driven by a Torqueflite 3-spd column-shift automatic transmission.
This is a 3rd Generation (1971-1974) Charger and this ’73 model year saw the introduction of vertically slatted taillights and new grilles. The hidden headlights has been dropped altogether, and the SE models had a new roof treatment that had a “triple opera window” surrounded by a canopy-style vinyl roof.
This Charger was built in Chrysler’s St. Louis Missouri plant on the 10th May 1973 and painted Dark Gold with a Black vinyl roof, and it still bears it’s originality today. It was equipped from the factory with a 318cui V8, and this number’s matching engine has just recently been refreshed. This is a southern US car and is a very nice original Charger that runs & drives great.
