1970 Dodge Charger 2-dr Sports Hardtop Coupe powered by a 5.2L 318cui V8 Chrysler LA-series engine and driven by a TorqueFlite A904 3-spd column-shift automatic transmission.
This was the last model in the 2nd-gen Charger lineup. The entire B-body lineup for the 2nd-gen models were redesigned and the Charger was further differentiated from the Coronet models. The ‘coke-bottle’ profile was adopted and featured a large wraparound chrome bumper and the grille was no longer divided in the middle. New electric headlight doors replaced the old vacuum style, and new high back bucket seats or a bench front seat, a first for the Charger since its debut.
This base model Charger was built in Chrysler’s St. Louis Missouri plant on the 16th October 1969 and featured Dark Tan Metallic paint and Charcoal & Black vinyl interior trim. Option codes included light package, radio package, left hand remote mirror, Charger special value package and power brakes. Mechanically it was equipped from the factory with a 5.2L 318cui V8 engine and matched to a TorqueFlite A904 3-spd column shift automatic transmission. This is a super solid rust free car, with a mild street cam that runs & drives great.
We are pleased to present this very hard to find 2nd-gen Charger, base model yes, but where do you find any Charger’s now!!
