1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Tribute 2-door Hardtop Sport Coupe powered by a 5.7L 350cui V8 275hp GM Chev L48 small block engine and driven by a THM350 3-spd console-shift automatic transmission.
For the Camaro 1971 seemed essentially like a carryover from the newly restyled 1970 models, and there were a few distinguishing features that make it easier to tell the two year models apart, in addition to the new federal engine standards where compression ratios were reduced to a max of 9.5:1 to allow for use of low-lead or unleaded petrol. The most noticeable was the addition of new high-backed seats borrowed from the Chevy Vega that were installed in all models. While a few emblems were updated, the most distinctive is that the “Camaro by Chevrolet” emblem on the trunk lid was shortened to just “Camaro.” Additionally, a new three-piece spoiler was offered, and side marker lights now blinked along with other turn signals.
This ’71 Z28 Tribute Camaro is a numbers matching vehicle which shows beautiful condition base clear Cranberry Red paint and near new Black interior. This is a rust free car which shows only low mileage, and now features new alloy wheels & tyres.
