This is a rare first-year Firebird convertible equipped with the desirable 400 V8 and THM400 automatic, and it is a lifelong California car that remains 100% rust free, retaining all original body panels, floors, frame, and trunk.
It still wears its original Verdoro Green paint with a Black interior and Black Top. This Firebird presents as an honest, well-preserved example that hasn’t required rust repair or panel replacement – something which is increasingly hard to find on early Firebirds, especially convertibles. Total Firebird production for 1967 was 82,560 units of which only 3,000 (3.6%) were 400 convertibles, making them scarce indeed!!
