1970 Ford Mustang 2-dr Hardtop Coupe powered by a 4.9L F-code 302cui-2V V8 Ford small block engine and driven by a C4 3-spd floor-shift automatic transmission.
This is a fun low-dollar Pony car. Sure, the paint although having ben re-painted White (original was Red) is now tired, and it’s a bit of an older build, but it is still very solid. This car resided in Montana state where the climate is dry and they don’t use road salt. As such the cars live well, though the sun can be hard on paint. This one provides a nice opportunity for a low dollar entry on a nice running and solid car. Sure the paint’s clear coat has failed, but the body is straight and solid. This one has some of the normal paint / rust bubbles that can be addressed without panel replacement.
Inside the interior was reupholstered some time ago and is still in good condition. There is some wear but overall it presents well.
Under the hood the 302 fires up easily and runs excellent. The air conditioning system appears to be for the most part in-tact. It is missing the belt, and the whole system should be inspected and serviced before use. However. this will save quite a bit of money compared to installing the A/C system from scratch.
The undercarriage appears to be in good condition, and still with it’s original floor pans. Take a good look at the photo’s, this is a good example that will save you thousands over a lesser car.
