This is a BEAUTIFUL car! Clearwater Aqua is one of our all-time favorite paints. This car has been recently repainted and is simply stunning. Lots of new moldings, bumpers, gas cap & more. This one is ready for the sunny days and weekend cruises that are right around the corner.
This Mustang Coupe car was built in Ford’s San Jose, Northern California plant on the 28th November 1967 and was painted Clearwater Aqua and featured standard bucket seat in Light & Dark Aqua Crinkle vinyl interior. It was produced as a T-code 200cui 120hp 6-cyl engined car with a C4 3-spd console-shift automatic transmission and driven through a conventional 2.83:1 ratio differential. This ’67 coupe was delivered to the Seattle, Washington DSO where it was sold, and it has spent all its life in the Pacific North-West coast of the US.
This car was a father & daughter project / restoration which was completed in 2021. Inside the interior was just treated to fresh seat upholstery, carpet, door panels, dash pad and dash bezels. In the dash a custom ‘Auto Sound’ stereo has been added with a nice big sub in the trunk.
Under the hood now lives a 4.9L 302cui V8 Windsor engine with an aluminum intake manifold and a Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor for a bit more power than stock. Backing up that 302 is a C4 Automatic Transmission and an 8″ differential.
The braking was upgraded with a new front disc brake conversion kit with 4-piston calipers and a vacuum assist. At the same time new upper control arms were installed as well as a new quick ratio steering box. Steering is quick & responsive and the braking is very smooth & confident.
The wheels are new 14″ American Racing ‘Torque Thrust’ with BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s. They fit excellent and compliment that aqua paint quite well.
Great car with nothing left to do!!
