This car was built in Ford’s San Jose, Northern California plant as a ‘C-code’ 289-2v V8 engined car and it still presents very nicely today, with a repaint in the original colour of Silver Blue some years ago. Inside, the interior is in excellent condition in its original Blue vinyl seat upholstery, door cards & dash cover.
This Coupe is a life-long Southern California survivor and still wears its ‘Black & Yellow’ plates. It still features its original body panels, which have never been cut or replaced and is 100% rust free. The floors and frame rails, although originally coated in factory Red oxide, have been painted Black and are 100% original and dry.
The car features power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes and factory air conditioning, which is fully functional and blows ice cold. Recent mechanical updates include new radiator, complete new suspension, 2″ drop spindles, dual Flowmaster exhaust, all new chrome & trim and fresh weatherstripping & seals.
This Mustang drives exceptionally well being tight, smooth and responsive. It is a true ‘turn-key’ ready to enjoy driver quality car.
