The Ford Galaxie was a full-sized car that was built by Ford for the model years 1959 through to 1974. From 1962, all full-size Ford’s wore the Galaxie badge, with “500” and “500/XL” denoting the higher series.
This survivor is a RARE combination of a 390 big block matched to a 4-spd floor-shift manual transmission.
The car runs & drives great, and sounds awesome. It is predominantly a rust free car, apart from two small sections in the front lower quarter panels & trunk (as shown). It bears the typical worn upholstery, missing headliner, dings, dents, stone chips & best of all patina from its 59 years of life.
If you are looking for either a rare ‘original unmolested survivor driver’ to restore or a resto mod project then this car has the right platform to start from.
