Car Description
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 SS Tribute 2-dr Hardtop Coupe powered by a 6.6L 402cui V8 GM Chevy big block engine and driven by a M21 Muncie 4-speed console-shift manual transmission.
1968 saw the commencement of the 2nd-gen Chevelle’s, and with this model year they received an all-new distinctly sculpted body with tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. The car adopted a long-hood/short-deck profile with a high rear-quarter “kick-up” and was shortened by 3″ in the wheelbase to 112″ overall. Top-trim models featured GM’s new Hide-A-Way wiper system.
This Chevelle has had a complete restoration including a fully rebuilt 402cui Chevy big block engine. The list of quality parts and fittings is huge, please refer to our features list for full details. This is a rust free car with the body and paint (Matador Red) in show quality condition.
