1969 Chevrolet Camaro 2-door Sport Coupe powered by a 5.4L 327cui V8 GM Chevy small block engine and driven by a 4-speed console-shift manual transmission.
The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the ‘coke bottle’ shape of the ’67-’68 models, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. For the 1969 year the Sport Coupe was lower, longer and wider, had bucket seats, carpeting, and an improved ‘Astro’ Ventilation System.
This car was originally built in the 1st week of October 1969 as a 327cui V8 with 4-spd manual transmission in GM’s Norwood plant and with Black standard trim. This car has been carefully restored and has turned out gorgeous with it’s original sharp colour combination of Garnet Red with white stripes and Parchment Vinyl roof. The car looks great in this rare livery, and is a real blast to drive.
Overall this is a very solid rust free Camaro, with just a few paint bubbles in the rear passenger quarter panel.
