This Corvette was produced June 1978 in GM’s, St. Louis, Missouri plant as a 2-dr sport coupe and was fitted with a base L48 5.7L 350cui 4-bbl 185hp V8 GM Chevy small block engine that was matched with a THM350 3-speed console-shift automatic transmission and driven through a positraction 10-bolt rear differential w/ standard 3.08:1 gearing. The trim/body plate identifies it as painted in GM’s two-tone Black / Silver paint and trimmed with standard Silver leather upholstery and Silver / Grey carpet.
This C3 Corvette is a desirable 25th Anniversary Edition. It was recently repainted in its factory 2-tone black / silver livery and it looks sharp and matches the trim tag. The paint shows excellent, and the body is straight. Headlights, gauges, and accessories are in working order. The original interior is in nice shape considering its age, and it speaks of how the car has been kept – indoors, in a climate-controlled space. The low horsepower 350 was recently replaced with a Jasper 300hp 350cui crate engine, with receipts available. The exhaust was just replaced and now features FlowMaster mufflers for that nice muscle car note. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein shocks, adjustable tie rod sleeves, adjustable strut rods, composite leaf spring and upgraded coil springs. Little surprise that this car handles AMAZING!
