Car Description

1956 Chevrolet 150 2-door Post Sedan powered by a 5.7L 350cui V8 GM Chev small block engine and driven by a Muncie 4-spd floor-shift manual transmission.

The Chevrolet 150 was the economy / fleet model in the Chevrolet range from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (1500) by one digit in order to capitalize on the numerical auto name trend of the 1950s. It replaced the Styleline Special model that was available in previous years and was itself subsequently replaced in 1957 by the Delray model.

The 1956 Chevrolet 150 had much less side trim than the 210 and Bel Air models. A single spear running from the front fender, through the front door and ending just past beltline dip. The spear was joined to the beltline dip by a short vertical trim.

This car has been restored only within the last year. It features Tropical Turquoise Blue PPG paint, and the interior is colour matching with white accents.  A new drive train is a key component of this amazing  restoration, and it sees a 5.7L 350cui GM small block crate engine as it’s heartbeat matched with a newly re-built Muncie 4-speed manual transmission as it’s legs. This car will keep you in comfort and capable of cruising at 100-120kph all day long. The many unique interior features of this car include a removable console/arm-rest/cup holder, ‘Vintage’ air conditioning, retro radio w/ digital tuner, under seat speakers, matching floor mats and seat belts. In the trunk you will find matching panels, fitted mat, and spare tire with cover. The engine bay features lots of chrome, an aluminum radiator, electric fan, upgraded wiper motor, and Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold.

This is a lovely period correct classic that exhibits muscle, and it drives and performs as a modern day car does.
