This is a beautifully and stylishly frame-off restored ’72 Convertible. With a really cool & unique take on styling this one combines the popular Pepper Grey with Gloss Black painted accents continued right into the door jams.
These ’72 Convertibles were rare in their own right with only 6,401 being produced or just 5% of Ford’s total Mustang production for that year. The 1972 Mustang remained unchanged from the 1971 older sibling, and save for a few cosmetic changes, most body panels and parts were interchangeable. The “Decor Group” exterior trim package was revised, allowing coupe and convertible owners to option their car with tu-tone lower body paint.
