1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2-dr Sport Coupe powered by a 5.7L 350cui V8 GM Chev small block engine and driven by a THM350 3-speed console-shift automatic transmission.
This ’68 Chevelle Malibu was the first year in production of the 2nd Generation (1968-1972) Chevelle mid-size car. The 1968 Chevelle received an all-new distinctly sculpted body with tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. The car adopted a long-hood/short-deck profile with a high rear-quarter “kick-up” and the coupe version was some three (3) inches shorter in the wheelbase than previous models.
This car was built in Baltimore in the third week of January 1968 and was originally a 5.4L 327cui V8 car that was painted in Island Teal. The engine has since been replaced with a later model 5.7L 350cui V8 crate engine, and the car has been repainted a couple of years ago. The paint still shows beautiful and all the trim and chrome are very good.
This Chevelle Malibu drives & shifts very nice with tight suspension and the frame & floors are all solid. Overall, this is a very quick car and sounds awesome.
